Apple requires sandboxing for App Store apps. MacGrid integrates with macOS at the system level for direct desktop navigation and low-latency gesture handling, including platform capabilities not available in the App Store sandbox. Because of that integration model, we currently distribute MacGrid directly instead of through the App Store.
